International Conference on �Building a New Asia : Towards an Asian Economic Community�

On 11 March 2003, Ambassador Manaspas Xuto, Executive Director of� the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) made a presentation on Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) and Asian bond market development at the International Conference on �Building a New Asia : Towards an Asian Economic Community in New Delhi. The Conference is an example of the participation of civil society, particularly the international forum of academics, in the ACD process.� The Conference provided an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of academics on ACD and exchange views with those scholars.
